DESCRIPTION:Meet with SCORE mentors at the Lobo Rainforest Building or on Zoom! Mentors are available for one-on-one\, confidential discussions and mentoring to inventors\, students\, and start-up companies. \nSCORE mentors are successful business people and entrepreneurs who want to give back to the community by helping other entrepreneurs become and stay successful. SCORE has been helping small businesses start and grow in the Albuquerque area for over 50 years through mentoring and workshops and seminars. SCORE is the largest National resource partner of the Small Business Administration (SBA) with about 11\,000 SCORE volunteers sharing their time and talents to help America’s small businesses. \nInterested? As a leader in Native American tourism initiatives\, Deborah has worked closely with tribes to promote cultural preservation\, economic growth\, and meaningful representation. \nWith a deep understanding of tribal governance\, policy\, and intergovernmental relations\, Deborah is committed to fostering strong partnerships between tribal nations and government entities. Additionally\, Deborah has played a key role in assisting Native American entrepreneurs in overcoming challenges in starting and growing their businesses\, providing guidance on funding opportunities\, regulatory processes\, and sustainable business strategies. \nThrough her role\, Deborah will serve as a bridge\, advocate and informant\, connecting with local Native entrepreneurs to understand their needs\, identify barriers to business growth\, and develop strategies and recommendations for the City of Santa Fe to better serve Native American small businesses and entrepreneurs.
