UNM Startup Osazda Energy has received a $1.25 million grant from the U.S. Department of Energy Solar Energy Technologies Office (SETO) to further develop their innovative and cost-effective products used to improve solar cell and solar module reliability. Osazda is commercializing solar cell technology that was developed jointly at the University of New Mexico and the Air Force Research Laboratory-New Mexico by Dr. Sang M. Han and his team, and AFRL Senior Physicist and Tech Advisor David Wilt. Dr. Han is a professor of chemical and biological engineering at UNM and serves as the Chief Technical Officer at Osazda.
