The Lobo Rainforest Building at Innovate ABQ currently houses the following companies and businesses:

General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems (GA-EMS)

This new office will support and expand GA-EMS business and technology development activities in the region and will provide GA-EMS with a more direct link to a growing community of contractors, entrepreneurs, and laboratories located in the Albuquerque area, including the Air Force Research Laboratory, Sandia National Laboratories, and Los Alamos National Laboratory.

The Rainforest Video Teller and ATM offers Nusenda Credit Union services at a convenient downtown Albuquerque location. The video teller machine offers state-of-the-art technology where members can talk real-time with a Nusenda Representative during credit union business hours.

Roanhorse Consulting is an Indigenous-led firm that purposefully works to change power dynamics in health and wealth system to build a world in which our children and grandchildren will thrive in. The group engages in project planning and implementation, resource creation, project design and development, ecosystem development, and research and evaluation.

Sueños Coffee Co was born from the desire to bring the high-quality local coffee shop experience straight into our community. Sueños Coffee Co was inspired by our 12 year old daughter in 2020 who in the middle of a pandemic dove into her love of baking and launched Sugar N Glitz. It started as a home-based baking business but quickly turned into New Mexico’s first Desserts & Coffee Food Truck to hit the streets of New Mexico and serve our community the best of both worlds. Our barista dad then began to build our first walk-in mobile coffee shop. Sueños Coffee Co. is what happens when a coffee & pastry loving family put faith over fear and work together to share their God given talents with our community. We pride ourselves in serving you the best quality products all made to order and along with the best customer service possible

Sandia National Laboratories is dedicated to increasing partnership and technology transfer activities in support of our mission. The Center for Collaboration and Commercialization (C3) serves as a “front door” to Sandia and is designed to strengthen partnerships, technology transfer, and ties to the community, and offers services to boost Sandia’s interaction with industry, academia, and government.

As the technology-transfer and economic-development organization for the University of New Mexico (fka STC.UNM), UNM Rainforest Innovations protects and commercializes technologies developed at UNM by filing patents and copyrights and transferring them to the marketplace. We connect the business community (companies, entrepreneurs and investors) to these UNM technologies for licensing opportunities and the creation of start-up companies. UNM Rainforest Innovations’s vision is to play a vital role in New Mexico’s economic development and to be a leader in technology commercialization.

The CVL incubator is a program providing shared office facilities, business services, mentoring, advice, and centralized location. The CVL continually communicates with existing incubators to find appropriate enterprises to work with these facilities. The incubator is an ideal complement to the existing functions and relationships of the CVL and UNM Rainforest Innovations.

The top floors of the Lobo Rainforest Building provide off-site student housing for students with a passion for creating something new- whether it’s high tech, no tech, or a creative idea. Open to all Innovation Academy students, current UNM Housing Residents, and UNM upperclassmen. The 2 bedroom/2 bath student apartments are 604 square feet and include kitchen, living, and dining room spaces. All bedrooms are single occupancy.
