Drifteen is a short film produced, shot, and cut by University of New Mexico students in the Film & Digital Arts (FDA) Department and was directed by Matthew McDuffie, Professor of Practice at UNM. The short film has won Best Cinematography at the LGBTQ+ Los Angeles Film Festival and will be shown in the Santa Fe Film Festival on February 18 at 1:30 pm. UNM Rainforest Innovations, the technology transfer and economic development organization for the University of New Mexico, protects the copyrights for work coming out of the university.
