Armonica Technologies, Inc., an Albuquerque-based biotechnology company, is commercializing an innovative DNA nanopore sequencing technology for precision medicine research applications from the University of New Mexico. Their approach strives to produce faster, higher throughput and more accurate long-read genomic analysis than what is currently on the market. They have recently been awarded a $350,000 SBIR grant from the NIH’s National Human Genome Research Institute to support further development of this technology.
