Local startup Nob Hill Therapeutics, commercializing technology developed at the University of New Mexico, has been featured in New Mexico Inno’s Startups to Watch list for 2022. Ten local startups in several different sectors were selected by Technology Reporter Collin Krabbe based on how they performed in 2021 and what they have planned for this year.
Nob Hill Therapeutics is pushing for FDA approval of their dry powder nebulizer (DryNeb) inhalation drug delivery platform for the treatment of severe respiratory diseases. Their nebulizer works to rapidly deliver high dose drugs with higher efficiency than current dry powder inhalers. Part of the VIC Technology Venture Development, a technology commercialization organization, Nob Hill currently licenses technology developed out of the University of New Mexico through UNM Rainforest Innovations.
