IMG_9324-2During this week, STC also welcomed Masanori Inoue, the Director of MPO, Inc. This technology transfer office supports the St. Marianna University School of Medicine, located in Kawasaki, Japan. Mr. Inoue participated in STC’s professional internship program, which is catered more towards professionals of new or young technology transfer offices who wish to grow their own programs. Mr. Inoue’s week-long stay consisted of the same seminars and events as the graduate students, but his curriculum also focused on comprehensive instruction in the administration and operations of a tech transfer office and the commercialization and management of technologies.

STC will host another group of students and faculty from TLO Kyoto and the University of Yamanashi in June 2020 for the technology transfer operations program and the City of Sanda sponsored students in the end of August 2020 for the entrepreneurship program.
