UNM Rainforest Innovations has partnered with the New Mexico Technology Council for a special Technology Showcase that will highlight women innovators and their technologies from the University of New Mexico.
The New Mexico Technology Council (NMTC) holds an annual awards event to recognize outstanding women in New Mexico STEM fields for their industry and community contributions. This year the Women in Technology Awards will be streamed virtually on Thursday, June 10 and will recognize the contributions of seven women. One of the honorees will be UNM Rainforest Innovations’ Board Chair Sandra Begay.
The same week, UNM Rainforest Innovations will hold a special edition of their quarterly Technology Showcase to highlight six women innovators from the University of New Mexico. These women will present their life-science and physical-science technologies to an audience of entrepreneurs, investors, and companies for commercialization opportunities. The Technology Showcase – Women in Technology Edition will take place virtually on Tuesday, June 8.
