About the Speaker: Seth Gardenswartz, Partner, Blackgarden Law

Seth is a New Mexico native, who grew up in his family’s retail business. His legal specialties include trademarks, contracts, payment systems, e-commerce, digital media and general business management. In addition to practicing law, he’s co-developer of a tech-flex office building in downtown Albuquerque and Co-owner of Surefi.com, an ad-tech company that combines proximity marketing with media targeting. Seth has represented and advised entrepreneurs on branding-related legal issues for over 20 years. When not practicing law, developing marketing or gathering specimens from his brewery clients, Seth can be found roaming the trails of the mountain west on skis, bikes or running shoes.

New Mexico Rainforest Tribal Entrepreneurship Enhancement Program

UNM Rainforest Innovations and the Tribal Entrepreneurship Enhancement Program are hosting Community & Entrepreneur Engagement Events to help promote and nurture entrepreneurial ecosystems in tribal New Mexico.

Building from the foundation of the NM Rainforest EDA University Center Program, the New Mexico Rainforest Tribal Entrepreneurship Enhancement Program provides entrepreneurial support to coal-impacted and tribal communities throughout New Mexico in an effort to promote entrepreneurship as a means for economic development and job growth in historically under-served communities.

These events are free and open to the public, but registration is encouraged. If you would like to learn more about the Tribal Entrepreneurship Program and get connected with a Tribal Liaison, please contact Cecilia Pacheco at cpacheco@innovations.unm.edu.
