On August 26, UNM Rainforest Innovations (formerly STC.UNM) will host a virtual Innovation Showcase to feature the latest developments in research and technology from the University of New Mexico. Six researchers will present on both life-science and physical-science technologies. This virtual event will bring together entrepreneurs, investors, and industry representatives to learn more about commercialization opportunities.
UNM Rainforest Innovations is the technology-transfer and economic-development organization for the University of New Mexico (UNM). They protect and commercialize technologies developed at UNM by filing patents and copyrights and transferring them to the marketplace. They connect the business community (companies, entrepreneurs and investors) to these UNM technologies for licensing opportunities and the creation of start-up companies. UNM Rainforest Innovations’ vision is to play a vital role in New Mexico’s economic development and to be a leader in technology commercialization.
